We offer Learn-to-Curl sessions for those who want to try Curling. Our Learn to Curl session is 2 hours and includes hands-on instruction on how to deliver the stones, sweeping, and basic curling strategy. Then we play some ends, just like in a real game! They are instructed by Pine Tree Curling Club curlers in a fun and relaxing atmosphere and we provide the equipment you'll need to try curling.

I'm Coming to a Learn-To-Curl - What Should I Wear?
Plan on wearing flexible athletic clothing that allows you to move freely and easily: you’ll be squatting and lunging to deliver the stone, and walking while vigorously sweeping as the stone travels down the ice.
The rink is about 45 – 55°F, and you’ll be standing on ice, so we recommend dressing in layers. Dress warmly; you can always peel off a layer if needed as you warm up once the sweeping begins.
Bring a pair of clean, flat-soled shoes to change into; you can swap out your outdoor shoes in our setup area. Avoid heavy boots or shoes with heels. We will provide you with grippers to put over your sneakers or walking shoes to help prevent you from slipping.
Safety Note: Helmets (bike, ski, hockey) are recommended for minor children and are always welcome for adults.
